Prasanna Rosa
I am Prasanna Rosa. Most of my fans know me as “ROSA”. My love for music grew from my childhood when I was just a child of eight years. Descending from a music family and been brought up in a musical background, music was nothing new to me. My first musical instrument was the Hawaian Guitar (Lap steel guitar) of which the original owner was my loving father. From then to now with so many challenges, I have become a well-known lead guitarist in the country. When I was eleven years old, I started my stage music career as keyboardist in my uncle’s band “Sweetstones”. I was able to learn Spanish guitar with the help of him. I also started playing Calypso music and performed in “Paragon” for four years. While been a Calypso player, I also played several other bands as lead guitarist. After 1985, I joined “Mendistars” and played my role as a rhythm guitarist for four years. As time goes on I joined “Syac” in 1988 as a lead guitarist.
